The emerging digital environment of the 21st century have now changed the way the digital natives know, inteact, and produce. The new virtual world has transformed the way knowledge is formed, relationship is engaged, and freedom is exercised.
It has changed the platform on the way people process information, share ideas, develop skills, realize decisions, present creation, get attention, find entertainment, compete with each other, build relationships, manage conflict, and acquire possessions.
But to some, the experience poised threats to their personal dignity, human rights, safety, health and protection, and belief of what is good...
The ICT In Service Training on Internet Safety and Security is a school level and division wide promotion of knowledge and software tools that are considered to help the digital natives and immigrants to live healthy, safely and ethically inside the virtual world of the Internet. The knowledge areas involve:
1. Healthy Computing
2. Internet Safety
3. CyberEthics
4. Security and Safety Tools
The target is to openly facilitate the collective understanding and promotion of the means to make the Internet safe and transformative to the human person, irregardless of age, sex, color, beliefs, and nationality.
