1) Never, ever, give out your Phone number on the internet; 2) If you can afford one, buy a Home security systems; 3) if you do any Freelance writing, or any other online contracting job, get the term in writing and get an advance, if possible. These are some tips I ran across recently that I'd like share. Some of these seem like common sense, but it doesn't help to be reminded. So many people I know could have had better results if they just did 1 or 2 of these.
